Language learning, out loud
Teachers, bloggers, experts and everyday native speakers can apply to create avatars with their own personality, topics and way of speaking. Pick one, start talking and get gentle corrections in your target language. Your first 10 minutes are free.
Browse by language, personality and conversation topics. Some avatars are official Vaexi demos; others are published by creators whose identity has been confirmed.
No flashcards. The avatar greets you first; when “Your turn” appears, you answer with your voice. It keeps to one micro-topic at a time and corrects you gently.
With optional conversation memory enabled, your level, goals and interests can shape the next session. Your first 10 minutes are free.
Shaped by the creator
Creators set the personality, topics and tone. They can also add PDFs, documents or slides as optional reference material, so the avatar can use their examples and knowledge instead of improvising.
Choose the avatar's background, interests, tone and correction style.
PDF, Word and PowerPoint can ground topics, facts and examples.
The avatar leads a live conversation. Optional memory can carry your goals into the next session.

Vaexi is a catalog of talking AI avatars created by people. A creator can be a teacher, blogger, expert or everyday native speaker. They define the avatar's personality, topics and conversation style, with optional reference materials for facts, examples and vocabulary. The result speaks with a natural synthesized voice and is available whenever a learner wants to practice.
A session is a live voice conversation, not an exercise feed. The avatar leads: it opens with a question, sticks to one micro-topic at a time, praises what you got right and fixes what you didn't. Beginners get short phrases and tiny hints; from B1 up it switches to full immersion. Vaexi uses clear turn-taking: your microphone pauses while the avatar is speaking, then “Your turn” appears when you can answer.
With conversation memory enabled, each avatar can keep a private profile of your level, goals and interests between sessions. Creators confirm who they are with a government-ID check and earn the Verified badge. That badge confirms identity, not a diploma, profession or teaching qualification. Creator applications are reviewed before access is granted; signing in as a learner takes one email and the first 10 minutes are free.
You open an avatar's page, press Talk, and speak. The avatar greets you first and leads a live voice conversation: one micro-topic at a time, questions to keep you talking, and gentle corrections along the way. Vaexi uses clear turn-taking: wait for “Your turn” before speaking.
Yes. Your first 10 minutes are free, with no card required. Minute packages and custom top-ups are shown on our Pricing page. Card payment connection is being prepared.
Right now the catalog lists avatars for Spanish, English, German, French, Italian, Dutch and Japanese. New languages appear as creators publish new avatars.
A natural synthesized voice. A creator defines the avatar's personality, topics and conversation style, and can add optional reference materials. Avatars use a library voice or a creator’s own cloned voice.
Verified means the avatar has passed Vaexi review. For creator avatars, the creator also completes an identity check with Didit. Platform avatars are created and reviewed by Vaexi. This badge does not certify teaching qualifications.
Creators are people from different backgrounds, not necessarily teachers. A teaching diploma is not required to create a conversation avatar. We review public claims and do not present identity verification as proof of expertise. Avatars provide AI conversation practice, not accredited teaching or professional advice.
Reference materials are optional. Creators must confirm usage rights and provide source links, authorship or licence evidence for uploaded materials. A Vaexi reviewer checks the files and evidence before publication and can request changes. This is a manual review, not a claim of automated plagiarism certification. Suspected rights violations can be reported through our Contact page.
Creator access requires an approved application or invitation, followed by identity verification. Before publication, a Vaexi reviewer checks the persona and public claims, reviews uploaded material rights, and tests a conversation for behaviour and quality. The decision is recorded. Changes to the avatar or its materials require another review. Fictional demo avatars also show Verified after platform review; this does not imply real-person credentials.
If you enable conversation recording for memory, the avatar can keep a private profile of your goals and progress. Recording is optional. Your shared personal profile and each avatar’s conversation history are kept separate.
Apply from your Vaexi account and tell us what kind of avatar you want to create. Creators can be teachers, bloggers, experts or everyday native speakers. If approved, a government-ID identity check is required before creating and publishing. It verifies who you are — not a teaching qualification.
No. You talk to an AI avatar, not the creator live. The current product does not learn from calls between people, clone someone automatically or train on your private conversations.
Pick an avatar and start talking — your first 10 minutes are on us.
